How Does it Work?

It’s easy. Perhaps you’re familiar with using a buyer’s broker when buying a home or boat. The broker is a residential solar expert with current market knowledge (products, vendors, financing, and incentives). Just like buying a home, the selling party (the solar installer) pays for our service.

The first consultation is all about you. Your broker will listen to your needs, and ask some questions on aesthetics (where do you want or not want panels), your home’s electric usage (now and in the future), and financial/tax questions to determine the best incentives and finance packages for you.

The 2nd consultation is to present a few proposals (quotes) to you. These have been narrowed down from the thousands of details into a few options tailored to your specific situation.

If you decide to move forward with solar for your home. Your broker is your professional representative throughout the roughly 8 week process. He/She will help with reviewing and signing the solar installer contract, financing documents, and permits. The project timelines and any obstacles are quickly addressed by your broker who has overseen hundreds of projects.
